From requirements to delivery
OceanStor Pacific — data at scale
Scale-out storage for file and object data: archives, analytics and AI datasets. Capacity growth, access protocols and throughput are planned as one expansion path.
OceanProtect — backup and recovery
Backup infrastructure designed around business RPO/RTO objectives. Compatibility with existing software, retention, protection of backup copies and practical restore tests guide selection.
CloudEngine, AirEngine and NetEngine
Switching, Wi-Fi and routing connect offices, campuses and data centres. We design around coverage, ports, PoE, segmentation and management requirements.
Ascend / Atlas — on-premises AI
Ascend compute and Atlas systems sized for the model and workload. A PoC validates CANN/MindIE versions, model and operator compatibility, and memory. RAG and document automation are aligned with data-location requirements.
Equipment selection, design, integration and support matched to workloads and growth plans.

Huawei Dorado for Irshad Telecom: from design to acceptance
An NVMe all-flash storage platform for Irshad Telecom. SOFCONS engineers brought design, supply, installation, configuration and acceptance testing together in one complete engagement.
Primary storage and backup: dividing the roles of Dorado and OceanProtect
Size workload and recovery requirements separately for Dorado and OceanProtect. Connect capacity, software, connectivity and application recovery tests within one architecture.
Raw
Nominal drive capacity
Usable
After protection, reserves and system allocations
Effective
With data type and reduction assumptions
Effective capacity depends on the data. Licensed capacity is checked separately.
Raw, usable and effective: calculating storage capacity
Keep raw, usable and effective capacity distinct. Worked examples for TB/TiB conversion and free-space headroom help compare storage proposals.
