Return an existing machine to service
Azerikimya needed to return a Honmaksan machine to service after it had been non-operational for two years. The operator panel displayed FB-ERROR, and the control software had problems. The task was to restore the existing machine’s controls so the plant could use it again.
Working with the installed control system
The machine used a Micro Trend UTC100PA controller with V2.2 software and a Micro Trend UT-60-8A motor driver. Diagnostics focused on the condition and control functions of this configuration.
One day of diagnostics, one day of service
The Azerbaijan branch of Sofcon Group S.R.O. carried out diagnostics and service to restore the controls. Diagnostics took one day and service took a further day.
Result: a fully operational machine handed back
The identified problems were resolved and the machine was handed back to the plant fully operational. Azerikimya could use its existing production equipment again.
