Gauges for pipe geometry control
Baku Steel Company’s pipe production required working and master gauges for setting rolling equipment and checking product geometry. Sofcon supplied these products. Their application covered the outside diameter, wall thickness and profile of the pipe.
Cast rolls supplied to drawings
Sofcon also supplied statically and centrifugally cast rolls for pipe-rolling operations. The rolls were ordered to drawings. Those drawings made component dimensions, working profiles and equipment interfaces the basis of the supply.
